Still no word from Perfect Order... I shudder to think what it could mean. Ok, so I've thought a lot about it, some reasons more plausible than others:

1. I didn't get the job and the boss is too busy to tell me
2. I did get the job and the boss is too busy to tell me
3. The boss hasn't decided because he's been too busy
4. I did get the job and they are working internally with HR, accounting and IT to get the infrastructure ready for a new hire

The last one is the case I hope, although number 3 is more likely. rrrr.

Meanwhile, my current job is ramping up and my boss would just be *thrilled* if I told him I was leaving at this point. I'm starting to feel guilty, I've never quit a job mid-project before. I'm sure it happens all the time, but not with me.

Well, this could all be moot; still haven't ended up on the 11 o'clock news yet, but don't count me out :-).
