w00t, I'm going to be on campus tomorrow for three days doing various odd jobs at IT. With all the unpopular initiatives I've led there on campus (wanting Linux lab workstations, a Linux firewall for CS under our administration, and sovereign control of our own damn subnet), my employers are cautiously 'reintroducing' me to the organization.

In reality, it's not a big deal and the people who matter probably haven't heard of me or the general CS pseudo-uprising, but caution is good, nonetheless in such a politically charged environment. It's worse than inside the Beltway.
