Except for a billing hiccup with the hotel room (which will be rectified tomorrow, else blood will be spilt) the trip was thankfully uneventful. I'm now at the Wingate in Addison, TX using the apallingly free direct ethernet DHCP high-speed connection. This place is completely all business. There's a communal fax/internet/etc. room downstairs, weight/workout room, a pool, the rooms are pretty above-average, but the internet really just puts it above and beyond. My powerbook just picked it right up.

After checkin, we went on Belt Line and had a late dinner at a place called BJ's (shut up, I've already thought of/made every joke already) that has a microbrewery. Damn you Oklahoma for making it illegal to have them. This beer was amazing.

I've not been in my own hotel room on my own since I took my RHCE last year. It's pretty fun. I'm going to catch up with my cousin later tomorrow after the class, we'll hit the town with gusto. werd.
