Turns out we'll have the same clown we had for the first class in this second class (first two days was Vision and Technologies, today and tomorrow are Sizing and Configuration). We're supposed to get a really cool book, I think I'll just not listen to the instructor and read the book on the drive home.

Yet another good thing: we got let out of the first class at 12:30. That gave us plenty of time to head out to Fry's. Ryan walked out of there with a new nForce2 based Shuttle-XPC and ram, but forgot his cpu and disk so he's going to have to wait until he gets home to play with it ;-). We also made it to the Dallas Apple Store where they had a new G5 working on display. Even with the barely-preceptible speed increase in the OS side of things (when compared to a dual 1.4Ghz G4 standing next to it), the hardware layout was genius. I bought an awesome cleaning kit for my powerbook's screen and chassis.

Needed a break so we came back to the hotel, made it to the local Thai place and they had *great* food, downed a round at BJ's and hit the sack. Going to take it easy today, get some work in and detox a bit. It's been wild lately. Fun though :-)
