Hmm, I thought I'd never have to touch Java again... oh well. It seems that all efforts at my current project to enforce automation are proving fruitless; I'm forced to break out the product's Java API to be able get all the info I need.

I guess it's pretty cool I'm using what I learned in college, not so much the exact language, but the wherewithall to say, "ok, need to get deeper" and to be able to execute. The constant stream of music from my vast iTunes library and the combination of Starbucks doubleshot and the coffee I had this morning is helping a lot :-).
