*waits as dust settles*
Ok, having only 6 hours of class and working half time, you'd think I'd have time to write in this thing every now and then :-).
Truth is, not much is happening. I get up, go to school at either 9am or 9:30am. I'm done at 10:30, and I go to work. I'm out of there about 2:30 or 3, then I study or veg. etc. etc.
It's such a stolid routine, it gets kind of numbing after a while. I can't believe it's already been 5 weeks into the semester (right? or is it 6). I haven't been playing much music despite the time I have to do so. I've been mostly playing with various projects for the computer. My current drug is MythTv and it's about the coolest thing to happen to linux since quake3. All you need, hardware-wise, is a fast CPU/disk/memory, and a TV-input card and if you want, a tv-out port. It then transforms your linux machine into a Tivo on steroids. It plays MPEG or AVI or DIVX movies, plays audio cds, mp3's and oggs, checks weather, acts as a picture slideshow, and records and plays live TV with pausing and scheduling to local cable listings.
Anyways, that's what I'm up to... back to the grind.
